What is FacePika and how does face swap work?
FacePika is an Android app that uses AI-assisted face detection, alignment, and blending to swap faces in supported photos and videos. You can start with your own media or an available template.

Is FacePika free to use?
FacePika is free to download. New users and first-time account linking each receive a set amount of credits. Single photos are free. A batch or a multi-person photo costs 1 credit without PRO and is free with PRO. Single videos cost 1 credit per 10 seconds, or 1 credit per 15 seconds with PRO. Multi-person videos cost twice that rate. Credit templates use their listed price. PRO templates require a subscription and are free for PRO. Finished results have no watermark. Are my photos safe and private?
Core face-swap processing runs on your device. FacePika connects to online services for templates, required resources, updates, accounts, payments, credits, and analytics; see the Privacy Policy for details.

What Android versions are supported?
FacePika works on Android 7.0 (API level 24) and above. We recommend at least 3GB RAM for optimal face swap performance and smooth operation.

How long does it take to generate a face swap?
Processing time varies with your Android device, the media length and resolution, and the number of faces in the project. The app displays progress while it works.

Can I use my own photos as face swap templates?
Yes. You can select supported photos and videos from your device, or start with a template currently available in the app.

Why the APK is this large?
Most of the file is the face model that runs on your phone. FacePika swaps faces on the device, so that model is packed inside the APK. On-device face model: This is the largest part of the download. It recognizes a face and builds the swap on the phone, so the photo or video does not have to be uploaded for the swap itself. The swap engine is included: The APK also carries the face-swap model, a face detector, and the libraries that run them on the device. One file for two kinds of phones: The same APK includes both 64-bit and 32-bit builds, so it installs on newer and older Android phones. Model files barely shrink: These files are already compact, and they are stored as-is. Packing them into an APK does not make them much smaller. A much smaller APK would mean downloading the model after you install, or sending your media to a server. FacePika keeps the model in the app so a swap can run locally, right after installation.
